Community Based Fundraisers
Stewart's is frequently approached by individuals and businesses in our community who would like to raise money to support our mission. Thank you to our many "Community Fundraisers" who help make our work possible. Below is a list of community-based fundraisers.
Power of Pink, Breast Cancer Fundraiser sponsored by Brighton
Where: Brighton Collectibles at Summit Mall
When: Grand Opening of store on Friday, Sept. 27 at 10am
Join Brighton for its grand opening and launch of the Power of Pink breast cancer awareness campaign. Refreshements will be available between 11am-3pm. Come and view the gorgeous Power of Pink bracelet made just for this event, with partial proceeds going to Stewart's Caring Place. The promotion will go through the end of October.
Evening for Chuck Benefit Concert with Zach Friedhof
Where: GAR Hall located at 1785 Main Street in Peninsula
When: Saturday, Oct. 5 at 6:30pm, $5 at door
Come join local musician Zach Friedhof celebrate and honor his father who passed away from pancreatic cancer with this exciting concert. It will "honor a great man who meant a lot not only to my music and life, but to the whole area music scene," said Zach. Proceeds from the event will benefit Stewart's Caring Place.
Holiday Arts & Crafts Boutique
Where: Fairlawn Community Center at 3486 S. Smith Road
When: Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10am-4pm
Start your holiday shopping early at the Holiday Arts & Crafts Boutique. Handmade artists will showcase their work, jewelry, scarves, wood-made items, and so much more. A portion of the sales will benefit Stewart's Caring Place. Raffles, baked goods, and holiday cheer will be in abundance, so please mark your calendar for this great event!
