Stewart's Caring Place employs a professional staff and several highly qualified contractual program instructors and facilitators. Many of our programs are led or assisted by highly qualified volunteers as well. Our professional staff members include:

Elving F. Otero, President/CEO, joined Stewart's Caring Place in May 2008. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management and holds a Master's of Nonprofit Organizations (MNO). Elving served as President of Boy's Clubs of America, Vice President, Urban Services & Financial Development at the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, President/CEO of West Side Ecumenical Ministry, and Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Myers University in Cleveland. Elving looks forward to meeting all of SCP's friends, participants, volunteers and supporters, as he introduces plans to effectively meet the increasing demand for cancer services in a caring environment. Evelyn DiBello, Vice President of Development, has extensive experience organizing special events and networking with potential donors. She earned both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Akron. Ellen Cleary, Counselor, has extensive experience in the counseling field with exceptional abilities working with families touched by cancer. She earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work at Cleveland State University. Katrina Miday is the Medical Librarian. She earned a Masters in Library and Information Science from Kent State University, and graduated from the University of Akron, with a Bachelor's of the Arts.
