Nutrition Consultations

These 30 minute individualized sessions with a registered dietitian can address issues such as loss of appetite, taste changes, weight gain or loss, meal plans and food preparation. Feel free to bring a loved one or caretaker with you. Call to schedule 330-836-1772.

Tai Chi

Class is temporarily canceled.

These classes will be held outside, weather permitting. Plan to bring your own mat, small weights (water bottles work well!) and drinking water. Should weather be inclement, class will be moved inside if class is less than 8 or class will be canceled.

Tai Chi uses gentle flowing movements to reduce stress and improve your balance, flexibility, and health. Bring soft shoes and wear comfortable clothing.

Yin Yoga

Class is temporarily canceled.

Learn about and practice this unique style of yoga that promotes relaxation and sleep. Participants will hold poses which encourages the lengthening of tendons and ligaments. Recommended for those interested in trying a gentle approach to yoga while experiencing fatigue. Open to individuals treated for cancer.

A relaxed, fun yoga class for all ages and experience levels. Please provide your own yoga mat, yoga block and strap (if desired), and drinking water. Chair Yoga

Class is temporarily canceled.

Chair yoga is a gentle type of yoga done while seated. This program is especially appropriate for individuals looking to increase flexibility and range of motion without performing complicated poses. All levels welcome.

Gentle Strength Bodywork

Every Wednesday
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Class is temporarily held virtually via Zoom.

Participants use light hand weights to help regain muscle tone and energy. Participants may stand or remain seated during exercises. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Reservations required so you can receive the Zoom link, please call or email to book! Join us for Qigong, a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, sound, and focused intent.

Walking Club

Every Monday
9:15 am

Stewart’s brand new walking club will begin Monday! Meet outside Stewart’s Caring Place front doors and join others on a 2 mile jaunt through nearby neighborhoods. Masks will be required, walkers will be socially distant. Please provide your own bottled water if needed. Email or call to reserve your spot!
