Support Groups & Counseling

Limited support groups will be held virtually via Zoom. Individual phone  and limited Zoom counseling is available as well. Please call to schedule an appointment.


Planning on coming to Stewart’s for the first time?

Please download our Participant Form and bring it to your visit and view our Participation Policy for information on the use of our programs. Potential support group members are encouraged to make a commitment to consistent attendance.


Coping with Cancer

Open for individuals diagnosed with any type of cancer who are interested in meeting others for mutual support on their journey. This group is not open to caregivers.


Gynecologic Oncology Support Group

Finding support among other women with ovarian, cervical, and other female-specific cancers can be an important part of the process. This group is dedicated to supporting women through their journey with gynecologic cancer.


Spirituality & Cancer Support Group

This group is open for those who are interested in exploring and talking about spiritual issues and how they relate to coping with cancer.


Lung Cancer Support Group

A journey with lung cancer through a personal diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one is a challenging time both physically and emotionally. Join Sally Olszewski, RN, Lung Nurse Navigator, for this monthly group to receive support, education, and to have your questions about lung cancer answered.


Breast Cancer Support Group

For newly diagnosed individuals, those in treatment, and those who have completed treatment. This group provides a warm community of education, emotional support, and a time to share your concerns. This group is temporarily offered virtually via Zoom. Registration required so you can receive the Zoom link. Prostate Cancer Education Group

This speaker series provides education and support to assist in the prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery process. Until further notice this series will be accessible via Zoom virtual conferencing. Please call or email to book and Zoom link will be sent monthly.

Mindfulness and Meditation Support Group

This group will explore the spiritual, emotional or physical concerns and needs of participants to develop daily meditations. Group members can expect to experience the power of group meditation as we explore and utilize a variety of practices.


Grief and Loss Support Group

An ongoing support group for adults who have lost a loved one to cancer. This group will provide individuals time to share with others and be surrounded with a supportive environment. This group is temporarily offered virtually via Zoom. Registration required so you can receive the Zoom link. Medication Consultations

These one-on-one medication consultations with a pharmacist can help you better understand over-the-counter drugs, herbs and vitamins and will address your specific medication and supplement questions. 45-minute sessions.

Caregiver Group

Providing care for a loved one with cancer can be emotionally and physically challenging. This group provides education and emotional support for those that are helping someone with cancer. This group is open to caregivers only.
