What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A DAF, or Donor Advised Fund, is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities. An increasingly popular charitable vehicle, DAFs are a great way to simplify your charitable giving while facilitating your philanthropic goals.

How Does it Work?

  1. Establish a DAF by making a tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
  2. Advise the investment allocation of the donated assets (any investment growth is tax-free.).
  3. Recommend grants to qualified public charities that you choose.

  • No Transaction Fees**
  • Privacy, if desired

**Sponsoring organizations generally assess an administrative fee on the assets of a DAF. These fees vary by organization.

Stewart's is amazing in the things that they're doing, helping people with cancer, and, really, easing the burden. A lot of things that the hospitals are unable to do, Stewart's is able to do and do them very well.
